Refund Policy – English Job Denmark ApS

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and withdrawals are handled for purchases made through English Job Denmark ApS (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This policy applies to all coaching services, consultations, programmes, and events purchased online or directly from us.

  1. General Principle

We aim to provide a fair, transparent refund process while also ensuring the integrity and planning of our coaching services and events.

Refunds depend on:

  • Whether the service has started
  • Whether the service has been fully delivered
  • Whether the Client is a consumer or a business customer
  • The timeframe in which the cancellation request is made
  1. Refunds for Consumers (Private Clients)

2.1 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Legal Requirement)

Under Danish consumer law, private clients have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

The withdrawal period begins on the day the agreement is entered into (date of purchase).

Conditions

  • If you have not yet received any part of the service, you may cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund.
  • If you choose to have the service start before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, you explicitly agree to waive part or all of your withdrawal rights.

Once a service is fully delivered, the withdrawal right no longer applies.

2.2 Our Extended 28-Day Cancellation Window (Company Policy)

Beyond the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, English Job Denmark ApS offers an additional company-specific 28-day refund window for unused services.

Conditions

  • Applies only if no part of the service has been used.
  • Applies only to coaching sessions, consultations, and programmes.
  • The 28 days start from the date of purchase.

Once any session has been delivered or used, the service becomes non-refundable.

  1. Refund Policy for Specific Services

3.1 One-to-One Coaching Sessions

Refunds are available if:

  • A cancellation request is submitted within the 14-day legal withdrawal period, and no session has taken place; or
  • A cancellation request is submitted within 28 days (company policy extension) and no session has taken place.

Once the session begins, the service is considered delivered and is non-refundable.

3.2 Multi-Session Programmes (e.g., “Land Your Dream Job”, “New to Denmark”)

Refunds are available if:

  • Cancellation occurs within the 14-day withdrawal period (minus delivered sessions), or
  • Cancellation occurs within 28 days if no sessions have been used.

Not eligible for refunds:

  • After 28 days
  • If one or more sessions have already been delivered
  • If the client fails to attend sessions without notice

In some cases, unused sessions may be converted to credit for future services, at our discretion.

3.3 Event Tickets & Workshops

Because event spaces, instructors, and materials are pre-arranged:

  • Event tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • You may transfer your ticket to someone else at no additional cost.
  • If we cancel an event, you will receive either:
    • A full refund, or
    • A transfer to a new event date

3.4 Corporate/Business Clients

Refunds for business clients do not follow consumer withdrawal rules.

Corporate refunds follow the terms of the specific agreement, proposal, or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed, corporate bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

  1. Missed Sessions, No-Shows, and Lateness

4.1 No-Shows

If you do not attend a session without notice, the session is considered delivered and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.

4.2 Late Arrival

Sessions cannot be extended due to late attendance.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the session may be marked as delivered depending on the nature of the service.

4.3 Rescheduling

Rescheduling may be allowed if:

  • You notify us more than 4 hours before the session time
  • Availability permits

Repeated rescheduling or cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

  1. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation, you must send an email to:

  • Full name
  • Date of purchase
  • Service purchased
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Order number (if applicable)

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

  1. Exceptions — When Refunds Are Not Provided

Refunds cannot be granted if:

  • The service has already been partially or fully delivered
  • The withdrawal period has expired
  • The 28-day company cancellation window has passed
  • The client fails to attend sessions
  • The client breaches the Terms & Conditions
  • The client is a corporate customer (unless agreed otherwise)
  1. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
We are not responsible for transaction delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.

  1. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
If substantial changes occur, we will notify clients via email or website announcement before changes take effect.

Continued use of our Services after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
